The VNS team manage the sales to support process across multiple product streams. Orders are allocated to the team directly from order arrival or indirectly via the project management team. The team is tasked with delivering the order to meet the needs of the customer whilst keeping within the costs assigned. The team is expected to take full ownership of the order and manage the expectations of customer and stakeholder alike through to full handover to billing and support, at the appropriate time.

Charterhouse Voice & Data (CVD) are now looking for someone who possesses a strong technical understanding and has excellent provisioning and fault-finding qualities to support the growth of our VNS Department.

Your role as a Senior Connectivity Engineer will concentrate on the customer experience with a mixture of order provisioning and fault diagnostics (WLR, SIP, Teams DR, Hosted Telephony and Network based products (SOTAP/SOGEA, EFM, EoFTTC/GEA, Fibre Lease Line and MPLS/SDWAN))

Appropriate candidates should be calm, technically minded, and positive with the ability to handle customers and suppliers effectively. You should have a can-do attitude, with a strong desire to succeed and possess excellent I.T, business communication skills, with a polite but assertive telephone manner.

Our focus encompasses connection and collaboration, which is why we encourage a hybrid approach to work, and working from one of our offices in either London and Liverpool and at home.

Requirements

• CRM/Service Now Task Management - Quickly and Efficiently
• Place provisioning orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Log customer Support issues and triage fault issues with suppliers and engineering teams effectively and quickly
• Manage technical enquiries in relation to wireless routers, data connectivity and networking.
• Provide effective day to day support to existing customers.
• Competent with Excel, Word, Outlook, Supplier web portals and quick to learn technical processes.
• Manage overall workload effectively; ensuring work is prioritised appropriately
• Attend customers sites infrequently if necessary.
• Configuration and implementation of complex provisioning products; Horizon, 8x8, 1Cloud etc
• Supporting the provisioning team in understanding the design requirements of orders
• Producing LLD (Low Level Design) documents for complex provisioning orders
• Developing internal databases to improve the overall retention and flow of CI (Configuration Items) through to support handover.
