Job description
Our Client, a leading law firm with offices in the heart of Harrogate, are looking to recruit a Chartered Legal Executive into their commercial litigation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a mixed caseload of commercial litigation, sports law and insolvency. It is essential that the successful candidate is qualified via the institute of Chartered Legal Executives.
Responsibilities:
- Handling a caseload of commercial litigation matters to include commercial disputes, professional negligence, landlord and tenant, shareholder disputes, property and construction in addition to insolvency work.
- Working on behalf of well known football teams, the premier league and the football association on a caseload of sports law matters related to teams and individuals.
- Working with a varied client base consisting of insurers, insolvency practitioners, charities, the premier league, well known football teams, professional players and national and international corporate businesses.
Requirements:
- A qualified Chartered Legal Executive with upwards of 2 years' post qualifying experience ideally gained within a commercial litigation environment.
- Local to Harrogate ideally or be willing to be in the office frequently.
