Learning Support Assistant- MAINSTREAM PRIMARY SCHOOL - ADDLESTONE,SURREY - ASAP
Do you have experience working with SEN pupils?
Are you a patient person that can work 1-1 with pupils at low abilities?
Would you like to work as a general Learning Support Assistant and sometimes a 1-1 Learning Support Assistant?
Do you have experience working with pupils aged between 5-11?
If you answered yes to the above, then this Learning Support Assistant role is for you!
The Role - Learning Support Assistant
For this role you will attend a trial day where you will go across classes and chose the class which you prefer. You will be supporting the class teacher with any activities, learning and mild behaviour management. You may need to work in different classes at some point but generally you willl be assigned to one class after your trial.
The School - Mainstream Primary School
This is a 'Good' one form entry mainstream primary school. There are 30 pupils in each class. Nursery up to year 6. The nursery is seperate to the main school and there is also a specialist centre for SEN pupils with a range of different needs. The pupils in the centre are aged 4-7 and are also intergrated into the main school. The school site was refurbished in 2020, the school has very spacious classrooms and a large outdoor area. There is also parking on site.
