Allstaff Logistics Division are delighted to bring to market the role of Transport Planning Coordinator with International Road experience.

The role:
- Evaluate pending orders within the transportmanagement system.
- Strategize daily vehicle routes, consolidatingorders to enhance vehicle capacity and minimize empty travel.
- Optimize costs by planning all vehicle movementsthrough the most economical routes.
- Coordinate with Hauliers/DC transport to alignwith schedules.
- Set collection/delivery times, securing bookingreferences as needed.
- Ensure meticulous entry of all details into thetransport management system.
- Generate and finalise Delivery Schedules.
- Manage weekend Helpdesk calls efficiently,addressing them promptly to minimize escalations.
- Handle daily issues and escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with the team on various tasks andadditional responsibilities assigned by the Operations Team Leader.
- Verify correct customer codes, rating of alljobs, and documentation of delays and exceptions in TMS for each job.
- Furnish operational data and KPIs upon request.
- Provide support to the Operations Team withrelevant duties as required.
- Operational experience in transport planningrole in a busy transport environment
- Strong IT skills across the Microsoft OfficeSuite, specifically the ability to import and manipulate data from externalsources.
- Knowledge of freight, transport, logisticsindustry
