Apollo Health and Social Care Job Coach
37 hours per week, Fixed term until 30 June 2025
£26,489 - £28,269 per annum

Do you have experience supporting individuals with employability? Are you passionate about supporting recruitment in Health and Social Care? As the Health & Social Care Job Coach, you would form an integral part of the Apollo Project, which is focused on supporting recruitment and retention in Health & Social Care. You would support individuals with their career plans, issue referrals and support the achievement of the project’s strategic objectives – namely education, developing careers routs and employment within the health and social care sector.

You will have experience as a coach, mentor, health and social care professional, social worker or social care leader and/or manager professional with experience of job coaching. You will be helping students within the health and social care curriculum area and a cross spectrum of individuals from different sections of the Norwich community area, providing a combination of career pathway opportunities, development activities and referral points. These may include 1-2-1 interventions or group workshops supported by creative and interactive material to engage the audience in mind or signposting to work experience and job opportunities. You have the freedom to design a creative package that will increase the motivation and confidence of individuals to stimulate them into entering a career in health and social care or plans that will assist individuals in mobilising their career, whilst being sensitive to their individual needs.

You will impart your knowledge, skills and experience through mentoring/coaching and support individuals in the early stages of their career. You will need to demonstrate empathy and patience, be passionate about the person and their professional journey.
