Job Description
- Managing and coordinating treasury accounting operations.
- Implementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures.
- Liaising with external auditors and managing audit processes.
- Preparing financial reports and statements.
- Reviewing and approving accounting transactions.
- Driving process improvements within the department.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Treasury Accountant should have:
- A formal education in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA (UK))
- Proven experience in a treasury accounting role within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations and accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.
- Superior analytical skills and attention to detail.
