Contract: Permanent, 80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE)

We have an opportunity for more than one Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join our friendly team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay.
We are a collaborative and supportive team looking for a colleague who shares our values of Respect, Partnership, Care and Improvement.
We are interested in hearing from Pharmacists with hospital pharmacy experience or Pharmacists keen to expand their career into hospital pharmacy. When you join our team, we will provide support and guidance as you grow your clinical skills. We have regular journal clubs, grand rounds, clinical talks and an Education and Training Pharmacist to support your growth and development. We also look to support other external training opportunities.
In Hawke's Bay the local branch of the PSNZ is active in organising continuing education sessions and has a great Early Career Pharmacist Network if applicable to you.
In this role you will be delivering pharmaceutical care and advice to inpatients which includes, but is not limited to, rotations through the orthopaedic, general surgery, cardiology, neurology, renal and respiratory wards.
You will be imperative to the training of Intern Pharmacists and undergraduates and provide support to the wider pharmacy team including supporting dispensary functions. You will be someone who finds reward in contributing to the improvement and development of medicines services to the hospital, and working with our colleagues in a multidisciplinary approach to deliver great patient care.
