Job Purpose
We are delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading organisation in Irlam in search of a yard operative. As a yard operative you will be tasked with ensuring the premises is kept clean and organised assisting with loading and unloading cylinders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Moving gas cylinders, loading them accordingly to orders safely onto pallets for stock and delivery
- Use manual handling aids to secure loads in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Loading cylinders onto vehicles (counter balance FLT license required)
- Servicing customer as appropriate regarding any collections or orders.
- Showing excellent customer service and assisting with relevant paperwork a
- General housekeeping and yard duties
What You'll Need
- Experience working in a similar yard environment
- Experience using a FLT with relevant licenses is also desirable
- Ability to prioritise work and amend route plans accordingly.
