Job Role: Security Officer
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern, 12-hour shifts, 07:00 - 19:00 & 19:00 - 07:00, Average 42 Hours per week
Pay: £11.00 per hour
Location: Heyford Park, Oxfordshire, OX25 5HA
Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for experienced Security Officers to join the team on our prestigious contract at CEVA, Upper Heyford. We are looking for experienced Security Officers who will be responsible for maintaining the security of the site; conducting internal and external patrols as part of a team and individually, operating the search station and to act as the first point of contact for all visitors to site.

Duties include:

Protecting the client’s property, people and assets by completing vehicle patrol access, attending and reporting alarm incidents and locking/unlocking customer premises.
Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner to the Control Room/ Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents.
Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service.
Operating and monitoring site CCTV equipment.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have/be:

Full 5-year employment checkable history
Valid frontline SIA licences DS or SG
Good customer service skills with a high level of enthusiasm and passion
Experience of conflict resolution and the confidence to handle confrontational situations, in the correct manner
The role requires use of internal IT systems so computer literacy is essential
Good written and verbal communication, time-keeping skills and punctuality, with flexibility to meet the job requirements
Smart in appearance and presentable
Reliable and punctual
