Job description

About us:

Gold Care Homes is a leading care home provider responsible for 32 homes located throughout the UK. We are recruiting for the position of Junior Billing Analyst. The Billing Analyst will be responsible for billing, collections, allocations, and debt management / credit control.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience in the Health Care Sector & has worked on CARESYS before but is not a pre-requisite.

Responsibilities/accountabilities:

• Admissions & Discharges on resident management system

• Manage end to end billing and raising invoices for all residents

• Credit Control responsibilities which primarily includes debt chasing & recovery

• Working closely with the CRM Team and Care Home Management to ensure that there is no new debt being built up.

• Produce Aged Debt Report

• Banking and reconciliation

• Send out Customer Statements (either to all customers or just those with overdue accounts)

• Recommend & initiate legal proceedings where required.

• Generating Various Revenue, Debt, and Residents report from the system.

Essential skills:

• Good IT skills and confident in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

• Fast and accurate keyboard skills

• Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person

• Strong attention to detail and able to produce work with a high level of accuracy

• Good organisational and workload management skills specifically with the ability to prioritise own work and reprioritise when necessary

• Able to work in an office environment that often demands high levels of concentration, while coping with frequent interruptions

• Integrity and understanding of care needed with sensitive information

• Able to respond to changing priorities

• Able to manage a high-volume transaction workload

• Able to analyse information and good problem solving

• Willingness to accept responsibility

• Be well-versed with DD collection and Credit Card collection (multi-channel)

Tasks and responsibilities within your area of capability may vary occasionally depending upon the needs of the business. You may be asked to undertake a variation of your normal routine to meet these needs. Your enthusiasm and flexibility will be appreciated

Education and Qualifications:

• AAT

• College – or equivalent qualification

• Experience in a fast passed finance department environment

• Salary from £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (Depending on skills/experience).
