Job description
Full JD & PS Attached To provide speech therapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment programmes to individual clients with dysphagia and communication needs within an adult mental health inpatient service. To be responsible for managing a complex caseload with supervision and support from the lead SLT. To be responsible for clinical and caseload supervision for band 4 assistant practitioner To provide training, advice, information and signposting to health and social care professionals, clients, carers, relatives related to dysphagia and communication. To be part of the Allied Health Professionals (AHP) workforce, undertaking a specialist role in delivering and evaluating specialist speech & language therapy needs as part of the wider multidisciplinary team. To contribute to the development of the speech & language therapy service within the inpatient mental health setting. To support student clinical placements
