£55,000 – £80,000 + bonus + great pension + hybrid working

*There is a broad salary range as DOE will result in either being hired as a Strategic Sourcing Manager or Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager with salary reflecting your experience*

Overview:

Talent Drive are pleased to be partnering with a leading pharmaceutical business based in Surrey who provide innovative healthcare services.

Ideally you will have strong experience sourcing direct finished goods from a FMCG / Pharmaceutical environment whilst having demonstrable experience of Far East / Low-Cost Country sourcing experience. This role will provide you with autonomy to take charge of the sourcing strategy due to the lean and agile nature of the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a high performing but lean sourcing team as part of a leading pharmaceutical solutions organisation who are centred on improving lives everywhere with an operational footprint in 50+ countries.

What the role involves:

• You will be responsible for developing RFQ templates and analysis models to enable consistent briefing to suppliers and standardised assessment of commercial offers.
• You will be accountable for preparing RFQ’s against the product and commercial brief set by the central brand and local commercial teams. Issuing the agreed RFQ to suppliers, evaluating the product and commercial offers received and managing the commercial negotiation to obtain the optimal commercial and supply terms.
• You will be responsible for delivering the agreed NPD projects per quarter, ready for handover to the regulatory and quality functions to contribute to the successful launch of new products by the targeted launch date and agreed budget and long-range plan.
• You will play a critical role in the Monthly Operational NPD Meetings with the European Business units.

The person we hope to find:

• You will be a self-starter with solid stakeholder management experience.
• You will have excellent communication skills at all levels.
• You will have demonstrable business experience in a commercial role.
• You will have experience working with FMCG and experience with medical devices, which is desirable.
• You will have experience of working with overseas teams.
• Working with Far East/Low-Cost Country sourcing experience will be preferred

Please note this role offers a hybrid working model with an expectation two to three days in the office on a weekly basis in their brand new, modern offices in Surrey.
