Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineerto work in their leading facility in Telford.
For the successful Maintenance Engineer our client is offering:

1. Starting salary of just over £46,389 with overtime opportunities 
2. Rotating 12-hour shift pattern (days & nights). 05:55 - 18:05/17:55 - 06:05
3. Permanent position
4. Pension – Company Pension or Auto enrolment

The role – Maintenance Engineer:

1. Dealing with breakdowns on a daily basis
2. Fault finding
3. Dealing with both Mechanical & Electrical issues
4. Planned preventative maintenance
5. Working with PLC Controls
6. Continuous improvement throughout the plant
7. Working to agreed deadlines 
8. Root cause analysis & identifying ways to stop the issue reoccurring
9. Liaising with Operators to understand issues

What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:

1. Experience within the food manufacturing/packaging industry - PREFERRED
2. Candidates must be Multi Skilled
3. City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or BTEC National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - ESSENTIAL
4. Experience with PLC's - ESSENTIAL
5. Applicants will be expected to go through a 2 stage interview process with the first stage being a numeracy and literacy assessment, as well as completing an Engineering test
