The Global Quality department is responsible for delighting our customers and are involved from concept to ownership. Safety, reliability, and prestige are at the forefront of what we do. The placement opportunity within Quality will provide a global overview of Triumph and the
opportunity to contribute towards the success of the department and the company, by being involved in numerous complex and exciting projects.
During your placement, you will work alongside our New Model team who are mainly involved in the design phase, our Operations team who support the production line, and our Warranty team who manager customer satisfaction, data acquisition and compliance. You will also be exposed to the other industry areas within the company, giving you awareness of the role and contributions of each department in the wider engineering context.
Our goal is for your development here to allow you to have the same responsibilities as the other engineers within the department. All applicants must have excellent communication skills, be able to convey ideas and solutions to a wide cross section of the organisation.
An Industrial Placement position at Triumph is unique from other placement opportunities in the fact that you work hands-on within the business and will play a key role in our future and existing projects. You will be placed within the department and develop your existing skills by working in parallel and collaboratively with our experienced teams.
Triumph is able to offer graduate employment opportunities for Industrial Placement students who perform strongly during their placement year and we have the opportunity to also offer sponsorship deals to students whom it aims to bring back into full time employment after graduation.
An Industrial Placement in Quality is ideally suited to Mechanical or Electrical Engineering related subject (including Production engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering with Business etc).
Please note that this role is only open to university students who need to undertake a year out in industry as part of their degree course for the academic year 2024-2025. We will be looking to onboard successful applicants in July 2024 for a 12 month period.
