JOB OVERVIEW

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of International Admissions to join Kent College, Canterbury.

This new role is a key ambassadorial role with scope to further enhance the School’s already excellent reputation nationally and internationally.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, energetic, and confident communicator, with the ability to forge strong working relationships with agents, parents, and pupils. They will need to tap into existing and new markets for international boarding students and promote the KC brand on a global platform. The role is pivotal in ensuring Kent College maintains its vibrant boarding community to agreed target levels and ensuring all parents and their children receive personal attention. The position requires excellent administrative skills and meticulous accuracy.

Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation. The school is located in Canterbury, just one hour from the centre of London by train.

The Senior School (11 – 18 years) has some 600 pupils, approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day. Kent College is proud of its A Level and IB students’ track record of academic success, with consistently excellent exam performance leading to enhanced destinations. There is also a thriving Junior School with some 200 pupils in total.

THE POSITION

The post is full-time, full-year, with a regular requirement to travel and to work at evenings and weekends.
