Job description
What you will do in your working day
- You will learn to use various machining techniques on lathes, grinders, millers and state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machines
- You will work alongside all other areas of the business learning the manufacturing processes and techniques used for production
- You will learn the latest skills and knowledge from our engineering workshop experts
The training you will be getting
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be a qualified Engineering Technician
- For the first 10 months of this four-year training programme (September to July), you will attend Shrewsbury College full time, Monday to Friday
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be a qualified Engineering Technician
- The programme is offered as a four-year fixed-term contract of employment. At the end of this period you will be eligible to apply for any roles that are available at that time
