Microbiology Technician

Location: Hampshire

Salary: 23-24K(neg,)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Microbiology Technician based in the Hampshire area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing environmental monitoring of  cleanroom facilities.

The role includes:

• Environmental sampling of pharmaceutical cleanrooms using surface, air and non-viable particle count testing and recording of environmental data
• Downloading and assessment of temperature and humidity data.
• Assisting with investigations into cleanroom non-conformant results
• The role demands dedicated microbiologist to conduct all required testing using good aseptic technique in accordance with SOPs and current regulatory requirements.

Qualification

HND in life sciences with at least 2 years’ experience working within a Pharmaceutical industry or similar environment with good aseptic technique.

The candidate must have a good communication skill as he/she will be expected to liaise with staff at all levels.
