Truro Permanent £40,000 - £55,000 per year
The firm has an excellent reputation across the South West and wider UK for providing quality services and added value project work to its wide ranging client base. With continued positive growth along with planning for the future development of their Truro offices the firm is looking for the right individual who can both lead on accounts/tax and all around business service delivery to mixed and varied clients, wide ranging in sectors and turnovers, along with developing and growing this firms department, playing a key role in the future growth of the business. So the opportunity offers a clear route to progress within a leading accountancy practice. The firm offers a mix of home to office working, flexible hours, with highly competitive remuneration and benefit packages. Full Time and Part time hours can be equally be explored.
Joining as Manager / Senior Manager you will have the expected responsibilities of managing a sizeable client portfolio, covering a wide range of business sectors and turnovers managing the delivery of accounting, taxation and wider compliance services, along with providing business advice, planning and added value services to your clients, managing staff, workload and budgets. Alongside this, a key part of your role will involve actively becoming a part of the local business community, networking, developing relationships and looking to further the growth and development of the firms client base. The opportunity therefore provides a genuine chance to progress and you will carve a key, influential role within this firms Truro offices.
ACA, ACCA qualified with a strong background in accountancy practice. You will have skills managing a portfolio of mixed clients of growing, profitable limited companies and OMBs up to or over the audit threshold, with an emphasis on delivering accounts, tax and advisory project work. You will be a manager or senior manager looking for a career opportunity with genuine progression on offer. Your background will have been developed within any of a small, medium/large independent/ op 50/ Top Tier firm environment and you will be seeking a challenging opportunity in the profession where you can progress within a leading firm of accountants.
