Housekeeper with duties listed below..
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and servicing the guest house including rooms and all public areas as directed by the Manager.
- Complete tasks such as making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. Ensuring guest rooms are presented to a high standard.
- Ironing using a roller press
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping or care home cleaning experience would be preferred.
- Must be flexible and an excellent team player but also able to work without supervision.
- High cleaning standards are essential as well as good customer service skills.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and to set cleaning times.
Desirable Skills
- Must have an eye for detail

Contracted hours are 8 hours per week. Work start time is flexible from 9:30am-10.30am until 2:30pm latest (2 x 4hr shifts). If extra hours are required, there are hours available serving breakfast from 7:30am. During Summer there are more hours available Mon-Fri.
