Job description

Our client are a global engineering-led infrastructure group who have a fantastic job opportunity for a Health, Safety and Welfare Advisor based in Minffordd, Snowdonia. The HSE advisor will report directly to Project Health Safety and Welfare Manager.

An allowance for lodging away and meals is provided.

Role:

The successful candidate will provide proactive and reactive health, safety and welfare support across all undertakings.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for supporting the construction project team and supply chain on HSE matters
• Supporting the HSE Manager to coordinate between all sectors of the project and report the daily concerns and areas of improvement
• Ensure project compliance with statutory legislation and contractual safety requirements
• Undertake onsite inspection and monitoring of health, safety and welfare
• Promote company HSE policies and procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Heavy Civils experience in a similar role
• NEOBSH General or Construction Certificate
• Computer literate with experience of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
