Receptionist (FTC)

London

BMG is on the lookout for a part-time receptionist to join our team! In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing a our front desk and will be the first point of contact for all external and internal queries. You will support the Office Manager with general office logistics and help with organizing internal events. If you're looking for a 3 day a week role , in an exciting company within the music industry, this might just be for you!

Please note this is on a fixed term contract until the end of Dec 2024.

What you'll be doing.

• Answering telephone calls and inquiries.
• Welcoming VIP guests, including artists.
• Ensuring smooth operation of the front desk.
• Managing BMG info (email) account and conducting daily stock checks for stationery and refreshments
• Handling in and outgoing post/couriers.
• Organising internal events, including virtual ones, and overseeing suppliers, vendors, and office furniture orders.
• Managing archive requests, courier and taxi bookings, company travel, and ad-hoc requests.
• Handling employee recognition, magazine subscriptions, equipment requests for WFH, and coordinating arrangements for board meetings and events.

What you bring.

• Previous experience in a receptionist or admin position.
• Strong organisational capabilities, with a proven ability to manage tasks efficiently
• Enjoyment in working with people coupled with excellent communication skills, fostering positive interactions with both colleagues and external contacts.
• A proactive and creative mindset, coupled with a strong willingness to learn new skills and think innovatively to address challenges.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, showcasing efficiency and effectiveness in task prioritisation.
• A love of music, of course!
