Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturing business in Grimsby as they look to bring in a new Finance Manager into the team. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 and you will be part of the management team to help in driving the strategy of the bsuiness.

The role will be all round and will have a large involvement with operations as you will liase with a range of stakeholders across production, warehouse and logistics in order to manage budgets and forecasts. The Finance Manager role will involve being hands on and supporting the team day to day and overseeing financial transactions. Duties will include: –

• Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Facilitation of regular meetings with budget holders to facilitate cost reductions, budgeting, and forecasting
• Challenge and reviews of sales and purchase ledgers and feeding back to transactional teams to ensure tidy and accurate
• Assistance with stock takes in aiding operations to facilitate a clean and tidy stock take procedure
• Reconciliation and upload of stock take into the system
• Calculation and posting of stock and WIP provisions
• Assisting with processing payroll (Monthly and weekly) and caluculating labour costs/ overtime
• Assistance in production of consolidated group accounting pack for parent company
• Provision and arrangements of information required for the annual audit with external auditors
• Assist in driving improvements in the provision of management information as well as systems and processes

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences; –

• CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA (Qualified by Experience will also be considered)
• Manuafcturing sector experience
• Staff management experience would be preferred
• Business partnering skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good IT skills (especially Excel)
