Job Description Summary

Role Overview: This position involves overseeing daily finance operations, treasury, accounts payable (AP) teams, and systems controls. The role is also responsible for month-end closing, audit oversight, investor reporting, and participating in Finance-related and broader company projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in statutory accounting and reporting for consolidated and individual legal entity financial statements.
  2. Support monthly closing and reporting, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  3. Maintain strong control and review of accounting processes and balance sheets.
  4. Provide operational support and team management, including purchase ledger and banking oversight.
  5. Contribute to finance-related wider projects.
  6. Lead systems and process changes, managing transitions.
  7. Support periodic and year-end audits, serving as a main contact for audit queries.
  8. Stay updated on financial reporting standards and regulations, including FRS102.
  9. Prepare, review, and ensure compliance with corporation tax and VAT returns.
  10. Support senior members of the finance function.
