P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Electronics Calibration Engineer to expand their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time permanent basis.

Duties will include:
Company Supplied/Manufactured Equipment
• Installation of PCB components, sub-assemblies, equipment manufacture and on-site installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Inspection and final testing of company manufactured equipment and sub-assemblies.
• Rectification of minor faults.
• Inspection of equipment prior to packing for correct type and completeness.
• Cross check of shipping details and documents prior to despatch.
• Cross check of company equipment supplied against customer purchase order.
• Portable Appliance Testing of all company electrical equipment.
Recalibration/Hired Equipment
• Recalibration of company manufactured equipment both at company site and on site.
• Recalibration of NDT and Welding Inspection equipment both at company site and on site.
• Final inspection of recalibrated equipment prior to return to the customer.
• Final check of calibration documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all hire equipment is complete and ready for use.
General/Administration
• Ensure compliance with current quality standard including ISO9001 & ISO17025.
• Ensure all documentation is present and correct in job files prior to submission for final approval and invoicing.
• The position may involve travel to customer/supplier sites within the UK, Europe and further afield.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
• Candidate must have a relevant C&G, NVQ or ONC/HNC/BTEC certificate.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport (desirable).
• A good background in electronics manufacturing and fault finding.
• Working knowledge of ISO:9001 and ISO:17025 would be an advantage but is not a requirement as where necessary internal and external training will be provided for the right candidate.
