Job description

Sodexo has over 40 years of experience supporting the Defence forces of the UK, the US and France. We support individuals, the community and the environment on base, working with military leaders to enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of personnel across all military services.

Through Hard Facilities Management, we support the UK Defence estate with a range of services to ensure that their infrastructure and equipment needs are always performing at their best.

Through estate planned and reactive maintenance, life cycle and project management, building maintenance and refurbishments we support the whole force living and working on base. And our IT systems manage utilities, finances, procurement and warehouse functions to provide quick and accurate account data for our clients.

Based on site at Merville Barracks in Colchester we are recruiting for a Senior Asset and Quantity Surveying Project Manager who will be pivotal to managing our contract agreements, both current and new.

Managing 8 direct reports, this a broad and varied role that will require exceptional organisation and attention to detail.

Ideally with a background in a Hard FM environment you will have the proven experience to lead by example with credibility and conducting yourself with integrity at all times in line with the expectation of the Senior Military Personnel based upon site.

Reporting directly into the Contract Director and being an influential member of the SLT you will have outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

To be successful in this role you will;

• Hold 10-15 years experience
• Have a professional affiliation
• Be a fully qualified QS and Project manager
• Be able to produce and analyse detail data reports

Package Description

Up to £65,000 depending on experience + up to an additional 15% annual performance based bonus
