The London Institute for Mathematical Sciences (LIMS) invites applications from Ukrainian, Russian, and Belarusian nationals for the four-year Arnold and Landau Junior Fellowships.
The position is aimed at candidates working in Statistical Physics, broadly interpreted. Special consideration will be given to applicants working on Integrable Models, Conformal Field Theories, Disordered Systems, Dynamics on Networks, Complex Systems and related aspects of Mathematical Physics, as well as the application of Machine Learning techniques in these areas.
Successful applicants will work with LIMS senior Fellows: Thomas Fink, Oleksandr Gamayun, and Evgeny Sobko.
The applicant should hold a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Theoretical Physics or a closely related discipline.Visas will be issued via the UK Global Talent programme, which offers indefinite leave to remain in Britain at the end of the three years. Salary is highly competitive.
