About Us: As an SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will play a crucial role in supporting students with complex needs to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities: - As an SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for Complex Needs, you will provide personalised support to students, assisting them with academic and social development.
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
- Assist students with daily tasks, including personal care and mobility support, as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity of support between home and school environments.
Requirements: - Previous experience working as an SEN Learning Support Assistant in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields is desirable.
