Job Description:
As a Buyer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of goods and services within the region (UK and Ireland).We are seeking an experienced Buyer (Indirect Procurement) to take charge of purchasing projects within the NPR (Non-Product Related) category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed needs analysis and manage the tendering process.
- Oversee supplier management, price, and contract negotiations.
- Develop purchasing strategies and ensure the local implementation of global and regional procurement strategies and processes.
- Perform, evaluate, and present various analyses.
- Lead or participate in procurement projects, such as supplier consolidation.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and implement global contracts locally in collaboration with Regional Category Management.
- Work closely with various departments and the Indirect Sourcing Manager within the assigned region (UK and Ireland)and with other international procurement departments.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Business Administration with a focus on Procurement, or commercial vocational training with additional qualifications as a Certified Purchasing Manager or equivalent.
- 2-4 years work experience in indirect procurement.
- A well-established supplier network.
- Experience within an internationally active company is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Coupa is advantageous.
- Comprehensive experience in negotiation.
- Responsible, independent, and structured approach to work.
