Job Title: Night Veterinary Surgeon

Salary: Up to £66.500 (depending on experience) plus £2k welcome bonus and up to £5k relocation package (for direct applicants)

Location: Avonvale Veterinary Centres

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 7 nights on 14 nights off. 6:30pm- 8:30am with a paid break

Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a dedicated night team? A position has become available in our central Warwick hospital working 7 nights on 14 off.

Your role and responsibilities

Avonvale Veterinary Centre was established over 45 years ago and has since grown to a 7-site practice with an experienced team of 30 vets and 40 nurses. We are highly equipped with a hydrotherapy unit, CT, video endoscopy, laparoscopy and an orthopaedic service enabling us to provide the highest standards of patient care whilst supporting our vets with a wide range of interests. With a diverse range of certificate holders, we are also keen to offer our vets and nurses support and mentorship to explore and complete further CPD and certification in their area of choice.

Our dedicated night service is situated at our central hospital site in Warwick providing case continuity. The out of hours service only supports our own clinics ensuring that our patients receive a high level of care, you will be supported by a dedicated night nurse and there is also accommodation available during your week on. The vet team is led by 4 Clinical Directors who ensure that individuals feel supported and that teams collaborate and encourage discussion in regular M&M and vet meetings.
