Job description
A lively and purposeful co-educational, comprehensive state boarding school for children aged 7 to 18 years, with approximately 670 flexi-boarders and 430 full boarders.
The school is a popular choice for local families who attend on our flexi boarding package, as well as for full boarders from further afield in the UK and internationally. This is due to a wide range of factors including our facilities, academic pathways and results, pastoral care, the boarding and flexi-boarding ethos and environment, wide range of trips and co-curricular activities and the resultant attitudes of its pupils.
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic part-time Health Centre Assistant to work in the school’s busy Health Centre.
The Royal Alexandra and Albert is a co-ed state boarding school with students ranging from the ages of 7-18. The Health Centre is an 6 bed unit staffed 24 hours a day during term time. The candidate will work 16 hours per week and be part of the weekend rota.
The candidate will need to support the health centre team to provide a high standard of service to pupils, members of staff and any visitors while on site. Previous experience in a school/ health care environment is desirable, but not essential.
We are looking for someone who:
24 hours per week (Mon, wed and Friday 1200-2000) plus a rota for Saturdays 0730-1430, with additional availability for on call (2 shifts per week).
