Support for Ordinary Living (SOL) is a value based non-profit organisation, who work for people with avariety of different support needs and disabilities to choose and create a life for themselves within their ownhomes and communities throughout Lanarkshire.
We are looking for experienced practitioners who will be able to provide leadership and support to their teams. Youwill work with the people we support and their team members to ensure that people receive care and support inline with their wishes and the National Health and Social Care Standards.
You will be joining a team of supportive, values driven managers who are responsible for the day-to-day management ofsupported living services. This will range from shift cover, reviewing and updating support plans, chairing teammeetings, and providing support as required to your teams. The role is predominately office based although theremay be the odd occasion, once all options have been exhausted, that you will be required to go on shift. Thereare also out of hours (on-call) responsibilities with the role which is completed on a rotational basis – ifthis falls on the weekend you will receive days off the following week.
You must be willing to join and adhere to the SSSC codes of practice. If you don’t already have the qualificationsassociated with your role you must be willing to work towards these. The organisation will give you support withthis.

We are recruiting for a Part-Time Service Team Leader who will provide acting up duties to cover Service Manager’sMaternity Leave and thereafter support the Service Manager in the day-to-day delivery of our Guide Communicatorservice. The role involves lots of communication with our employees you should therefore be a confidentcommunicator. Previous experience of managing absence would be advantageous. You should be able to prioritiseyour workload, manage competing prioritise and work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time account assistant to join the organisations finance team. We are lookingfor someone who has at least one years’ experience in a similar role however this does not need to have beenwith a non – profit or social care organisation as training will be given. The ideal candidate will be able toprioritise their workload, manage competing priorities and work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Theyshould have excellent communication skills as they will be liaising with various stakeholders.

This role currently oversees services in Glasgow, East and West Dunbartonshire, Argyll & Bute, Ayrshire,Lanarkshire and Scottish Borders. The Role

You’ll play an integral role providing line management to our high performing team of Branch Leaders and supportingthe Director of Delivery and Senior Leadership Team in the development of Cornerstone’s aims and vision. Youwill contribute to the strategic decision-making processes along with the continuous improvement and developmentof Cornerstones operational services.
Providing high levels of expertise, you will support Branch Leaders and Director of Business Development toproactively seek out funding and new business opportunities and contribute to tenders and proposals.
As our Depute Delivery Director you will be expected to have a great understanding of finances and managing asignificant budget. The management of the budgets will include ensuring branches operate within their agreedbudgets, supporting to address underperforming areas, proactively seek out opportunities to diversify incomestreams and create cost effective solutions.
