Job description

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor for one of our client secondary schools based in Salisbury.

The school is looking for someone who is bubbly, exceptional with behaviour management and someone who has previous experience working in a school based environment.

The role is to cover lessons of students within the KS3 and KS4 bracket. Your main responsibility as a Cover Supervisor will be to manage the behaviour of the class and deliver the pre-set work. It is easy for students to become easily distracted when their continuity is broken, and the regular teacher is not in. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the Cover Supervisor to retain the student's attention while keeping them task focused and maintaining their enthusiasm and enjoyment.

You will be able to work in many different departments within a friendly and high achieving school.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to become a teacher and wants some all-round experience which could lead to further prospects!

Full time from after Easter until the end of the academic year.

This role could become permanent for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
