Job description
Duties include being responsible for supervising the day to day running of the shop, ensure effective and correctly merchandised promotional activities inside and outside the shop to maximise sales and increase customer base; monitor and review the product range with a view to increasing turnover and profitability; managing junior staff, training staff, duty rostering; ensuring that other staff stock the shelves correctly, answering customer queries, generating till reports; stock checking and ordering stock when necessary; supervise, give guidance and motivate store staff to promote a successful business; etc.
