Overview

One of the areas well known manufacturers are looking to recruit a new Maintenance Manager to lead a team and area of their manufacturing site. As a Maintenance Manager, your role will involve managing the day to day work for a team of engineers as well as managing projects, improvements and reliability. This is a great opportunity for a successful and experienced Maintenance Manager with a successful track record to use their experience and knowledge to drive forward growth and standards.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Manager

• Overseeing and managing day to day operations in the engineering department.
• Managing projects from inception to delivery covering installations and process changes. 
• Managing the recruitment for your engineering team. 
• Upskilling and providing guidance to the hands-on engineering team.
• Attending and running daily production meetings.
• Senior site management responsibilities and working closely with other departments. 
• Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site.

Requirements for the Maintenance Manager

• Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
• Experience working in a senior engineering management position previously.
• Experience working in the food or FMCG environments and comfortable working to a fast pace.
• Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
