Job description
Pocket geek Tech Repair is looking for a mobile phone & laptop technician to join our team for their Perth & Dundee stores. The technician will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients.
Requirements
• At least 3 years of experience in an electronics or mobile phone repair shop.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Good customer service skills and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Computer proficiency, knowledge of computer applications, and basic computer skills are required.
• Basic understanding of wireless technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of mobile phone, laptops, tablets & gaming consoles devices.
• Utilize your excellent soldering skills to perform intricate soldering tasks and rework on electronic components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, employing a systematic approach to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and best practices, ensuring the continuous improvement of repair processes.
• Accurately document repair activities, including test results, procedures, and any modifications made during the repair process.
• Adhere to industry standards, safety guidelines, and quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of workmanship
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-40Hours per week
Salary: £13.00-£15.00 per hour (Depends on Experience)
