Job Title: Governance & Control Analyst
Function: Chief Information Office (CIO), Cloud & Service Delivery’s Governance & Control team
Location: Hybrid working with collaboration days in either London or Edinburgh offices
Salary: Competitive plus excellent benefits

Supporting that, within Cloud & Service Delivery, our Governance & Control team is dedicated to upholding Technology Policy and standards, whilst managing all IT, Incident and Service reporting both internally (up to Board) and externally (to our Regulators and Group). We work closely with Service Management to drive continuous improvement, ensuring Business Service SLAs are tracked and managed and ensure Operational Supplier Governance. We’re looking for an Analyst to join our team.

How you’ll make a difference
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Governance & Control, the Governance & Control Analyst will be part of the Governance & Control team.

You will be responsible for day-to-day analysis, governance, and control across Cloud & Service Delivery. This includes central coordination and support of our Technology Policy and standards alongside analysis and management of our people, financials, resource, skills and training coordination, meeting governance, papers, and repository coordination.

What you’ll bring

- Experience managing and implementing excellent governance practices across functions, maintaining a clear control across the function's key forums, covering people, finance, governance, and Team coordination.
- Ability to collaborate across wide audiences, with excellent communication with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Upwards influencing capability, with excellent stakeholder management skills and commercial awareness
- A service-orientated mindset, with strong analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure technologies
- Experience managing bank Policy and supporting standards, ensuring maintenance and governance, whilst ensuring waivers are managed in accordance to the Risk Management Framework.
- Excellent records management, ensuring repositories are maintained, with appropriate sign-off, version control, and document management.
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile.
- Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement initiatives, driving better ways of working, cost effectiveness and quality control.
- Ability to collaborate with finance partners to support a central view of financials within IT, both team-led (expenses, resources, training) and wider (third parties)
- Ability to support with regular team communications, such as vlogs, newsletters, and all-team calls, including supporting agenda items, spotlights, key presenters across the business and support feeding into external communications outside of the immediate team.
