Procurement Manager - BRAND NEW ROLE
Near Stockport - hybrid working
£45-55k salary plus excellent benefits
We are recruiting for a rapidly expanding business who due to growth, are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
It's a brilliant opportunity as not only will you be part of a growing business, as it's the first time they've had someone in this role, you'll be able to come in and put your own stamp on the role, whilst adding a lot of value!
Overview of the role
- Initially the role will be more admin/task based, as essentially you'll be coming in to review all of the existing suppliers and go through a vetting process again.
- Building relationships with existing suppliers and also sourcing new suppliers
- Creating KPI's and SLA's for suppliers and monitoring
- Working collaboratively with other departments across the business such as utilities and legal team
- Attending industry events and seminars to gather future supplier details
- Developing and leading on procurement strategies
- Identifying supply needs and leading on tender processes
- Responsible for reporting
Requirements
Ideal experience
- Previous procurement experience ideally gained from a property/real estate/facilities management background
- Experience of procuring hard/soft services
- Experience in drafting service specifications
- Ideally a procurement qualification
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong negotiator and proactive
