Job description

Finfin Play is launching Fashion League, a new and exciting fashion game experience where individuals from all backgrounds can connect, express themselves creatively, and find inspiration. We aim to provide a space for players to confidently showcase their uniqueness and get a sense of belonging with Fashion League - Shaped by our community. If you have technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and an understanding of game design principles, this role is for you! We are seeking an ambitious Senior Game Developer who will join our mission to develop the first-of-its-kind fashion mobile game. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the underlying technology and software systems, whilst using your programming prowess, collaboration and leadership skills. Responsibilities:

Game Development: contribute to the development of our game by creating and implementing all the fantastic gameplay features, mechanics, and systems. Collaborate hand-in-hand with designers and artists to ensure the game's vision is translated into a functional and engaging experience. Programming Expertise: possess a high level of proficiency in programming languages like C++, C#, Go or Python. Write efficient and maintainable code, and weave your coding magic to optimise performance, and banish any bugs. Technology Research and Integration: stay updated with the latest advancements and trends relevant to the fashion gaming industry. Explore and integrate cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and technologies and provide innovative solutions to improve player experiences. Systems Architecture: design and maintain the architecture that powers our game. Create the framework for game mechanics, stunning user interfaces, AI systems, physics simulations, networking, and other essential components. Team Collaboration: work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth integration of different game elements. Provide technical guidance, bring your expertise to design discussions, and fearlessly tackle any technical hurdles that arise. Quality Assurance: contribute to the testing and debugging phases of game development, ensuring the game runs flawlessly on different platforms and devices. Code Review and Mentoring: review the work of other programmers, offer constructive feedback and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed. Embrace the role of mentor, nurturing the growth of junior programmers. Performance Optimization: analyse, enhance, and optimise game performance, ensuring our game runs smoothly, with jaw-dropping visuals and animations. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Proven 6+ years of work experience as a game developer, specifically in mobile game development.

Experience with successful game releases (A to Z) on mobile platforms.

Proficient in C# and at least entry level in Golang, some Python would be a big plus. A solid understanding of the Unity Game engine.

Exceptional technical, creative and problem-solving skills.

Strong collaboration and leadership skills.

Outstanding English communication skills. Passion for all things gaming. Proactive, dynamic and always on top of industry trends and competitive products.
