Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an influential role in improving studio operations, in this newly created position. We are looking for a highly motivated Studio Traffic Manager with a design or artwork background, to manage the workflow in a design team within a successful FMCG brand. This is a permanent, full-time role and our client is offering hybrid working of 2 days per week in their offices based in Redditch. Salary is £47k, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Our client is a leading brand specialising in luxury bath and body products. They are very passionate about their products and customers and work collaboratively across design, sales and marketing. They have on-site parking and are based in spacious office accommodation commutable from Worcester, Leamington Spa, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Birmingham, Solihull, South Staffs and West Midlands.

The Role

As Studio Traffic Manager, you will play an important role in the design team, managing studio workflow, scheduling and co-ordinating all design and artwork projects, including advertisements, brochures, catalogues, packaging, photography, POS, web banners, image retouching and other design requests. As an experienced Studio Traffic Manager, you will use your knowledge to improve the studio operationally, including implementing improved processes, software and technology. You will be the champion of the design team, in their creation of stunning on-brand visual communications and accurate print-ready artwork. At busy times, you may need to support the team with design or artwork jobs.

About You

You have a graphic design background and exceptional knowledge of the creative process from concept to production. You have moved into a Studio Manager or Traffic Manager role and have strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ideally, you have worked with retail FMCG brands giving you experience with packaging and point-of-sale. You have excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills and can confidently prioritise workloads to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You are highly proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator and are happy to use these skills to support the team with design and artwork duties, as required.
