The Haynes Motor Museum is a world renowned, multi award winning museum and visitor attraction located in South Somerset. The Reception Team Member is a key role in the Museum visitor’s experience, operating the Museum Shop and providing the highest standard customer service to all visitors. The Museum has a culture of mentoring, ownership and mutual professional respect. Duties & Responsibilities
• Welcoming visitors, selling tickets and providing information about their visit
• Acting as a Brand Ambassador for the Museum
• Promoting the Gift Aid scheme and souvenir guidebooks to all visitors
• Assisting visitors with enquiries about the Museum and their Shop purchases
• Ensuring that the Shop is kept tidy and restocked regularly
• Co-ordinating with all internal departments of the Museum as required
• Till/computer operation including daily cashing up
• Ensure all leaflet/ Souvenir guides and activity booklets are fully stocked
• Assisting the manager in all aspects of retail operation
• Answering and transferring phone calls when needed
• Promoting Souvenir Guide sales and Gift Aid to ALL customers
• In store cleaning and shelf replenishment
• Assisting visitors with wheelchairs and mobility scooters and documents
• Dealing with deliveries, pricing, and replenishing store accordingly •

Hours & Structure
Zero hour contracts. All positions will require working on a rota covering 7 days/week so will incorporate some weekend working.
