Job description

We're looking for Food Production Operatives to join our client, a leading food manufacturing company, and play a key role in the production process at their fast-paced Harlow facility. You would be joining a successful business with ambitious growth plans at an exciting time.

Please note: This is a permanent full-time contract role working 3pm-11:30 Monday to Friday. Hourly rate £11.00 with overtime x 1.5 over 40 hours, plus benefits package including various well-being initiatives to encourage positive mental health both in and out of the workplace, staff discounts and rewards scheme, plus much more.

Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in making and packing some of the company's products. You will follow all the correct processes and procedures to ensure the best products are made and customers are satisfied. Your role involves working with a great, close-knit team, under pressure in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing / production environment ideal but not essential, full training provided
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment, preparing food with long periods of standing, lifting and carrying
- Able to work in a safe manner and follow good H&S practices
- Organised, able to follow and put in place routine tasks efficiently, strong attention to detail
- Flexible, able to work nights and take on occasional overtime hours
