The Job
The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for identifying business partners, creating relationships, strategies and structure to enable bi-directional growth for AVI-SPL’s XTG business. The person will also be responsible for developing assigned accounts to drive new business opportunities through selected CRE channel partners (primarily CBRE, Jones Lange LaSalle, and Colliers).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the agreed upon Master Service Agreements with the assigned channels relating to the pricing schedules and marketing programs.
- Assist in articulating and presenting the full life-cycle company solution to customers and partners (all market verticals that include global, healthcare, state/local government and federal) through the channel including experiential technology solutions, audio/video integration, maintenance services and managed services offerings.
- Engage with each assigned account and key personal on a country-wide basis with the aim of driving sales through these selected channel partnerships.
- Qualify when to engage a local salesperson and other operations people who have the resources to complete the sale, including network requirements, build and design, RFP responses and quote building.
- Execute joint marketing events to evangelize company’s solutions to build brand and buy-in
- Compile a detailed and mutually agreed business plan.
- Host monthly and quarterly business review meetings with channel partner personnel.
- Train and support channel partner personnel in all areas of the company’s product and services range.
- Provide support for RFP and RFQ quotes for all company products and services.
- Build relationships within the global/EMEA network of experience designers (creative agencies, digital/immersive designers, architects, fabricators, niche experiential technology vendors) in close coordination with the Global Dir. of Strategic Partnerships.
- Identify High Potential experience design partners and align (or develop) relationship strategy within the parameters of the XTG Partnership Program; seek out net new partnerships while also engaging EMEA-based AVI-SPL regional offices to understand any existing/legacy relationships.
- Build strategic capture plans for global/EU-regional partnerships.
- Identify and attend events, conferences, etc. where XTG existing and prospective partners will be in attendance. Position XTG as SME/thought leaders within identified, targeted events/conferences.
- Acquire and develop High Potential partners with regular engagement, recurring cadence of strategic planning meetings, connecting XTG Partners with XTG Business Development team members for pursuit/lead generation.
- Track partner engagement and activity to inform XTG Partnership Program strategy for global/EMEA growth.
- Help develop regional and global goals, recommending initiatives and activities with partners, and ensuring follow-through that yields results in the form of inbound leads from the XTG Partner Ecosystem.
