Are you passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments? We're seeking a dedicated Additional Learner Support Coordinator to join our client's team on a remote basis. This is an exciting opportunity with a competitive salary ranging between £25,000 to £30,000.
Key Responsibilities of Additional Learner Support Coordinator (Remote)- Offer assistance to learners through virtual platforms, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and guidance.
- Tailor support strategies to meet the unique needs of learners, promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities.
- Work closely with educators and other support staff to enhance the overall learning experience for individuals requiring additional support.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and support interventions, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
- Support Specialist Team Lead with the coordination and planning of reviews with the learner, tutor, key staff and their employer. This includes attending review meetings, reviewing support, provision and outcomes as well as setting SMART target and recording meeting notes on systems.
- Carry out person-centred planning, collate and share information prior to any reviews taking place.
- Be the key point of contact between Inclusive Learning and curriculum areas for all learners with additional learning needs through shared planning, expertise and knowledge of learning difficulties/disabilities/SEND, Education Health and Care and High Needs planning.
- Promote independence, achievement and progression for students within the four areas of need (Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, Social Emotional and Mental Health, Sensory and Physical Needs).
Requirements for Additional Learner Support Coordinator (Remote)- Previous experience in a similar role, with a background in providing support to learners in various contexts.
- Have an understanding of ESFA and Compliance regulations in an Apprenticeship Training Provider setting.
- Familiarity with Onefile and LMS systems is a plus.
- Proficient in utilising virtual communication tools and platforms for effective remote support.
- A compassionate approach towards learners, with the ability to empathise and adapt support strategies accordingly.
- Strong organisational skills to manage individualised support plans and documentation effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a diverse background, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to contribute to a variety of tasks. Previous experience in operations or related fields will be advantageous, as we value the unique perspectives that individuals from different industries bring to the team.
