Job description

Are you a passionate, qualified Functional Skills Tutor with experience in delivering Maths and English up to level 2?

TQ Education & Training (part of the Pearson Group) is a provider of outsourced training services to the UK Ministry of Defence, other public sector organisations and private companies both in the UK and overseas. You will support Functional Skills delivery as part of the Army Royal Engineer Apprenticeship contract with the MoD however, your role isn't just limited to one contract; you'll have the opportunity to work across various exciting TQ partnerships!

About the role

You will be responsible for delivering English and Mathematics Functional Skills qualifications to learners across our Pearson TQ Work Based Learning contracts. This is a peripatetic role and will involve teaching, motivating and guiding learners to success across various locations, including:

We would welcome applications for the peripatetic Functional Skills Tutor in any of the listed locations above as well as the local areas. We are also actively recruiting for a full-time Functional Skills Tutor based at Marchwood and a full-time Functional Skills Tutor based at Worthy Down.
