Elevation Recruitment Group – Marketing Division are excited to be working exclusively with a national transport provider. This Product Marketing Manager is a senior role in the marketing department. They must have a clear understanding of how to leverage consumer behavioural, lifestyle, transactional, and demographic data to deliver relevant marketing programmes, through multiple communication channels with a vision of growing customer acquisition and retention, increasing customer lifetime value.
They will take the initiative to trial the latest tools and strategies with which to reach potential customers, engage them and increase customer retention.
Purpose of the job (Objectives)
- Increase demand (journeys & revenue) network-wide
- Increased Brand metrics amongst audiences – WoM, Ad Awareness, Brand Awareness, Buzz, and purchase intent
- Champion the insights and delivery of product development, innovation, and strategy through leadership of a cross functional working groups
Responsibilities:
- Supporting our Head of Sales & Marketing with end-to-end proposition development, through to marketing execution covering acquisition and retention of our markets
- Working closely with the Customer Experience Design Manager, The Business Development & Partnership Team, and the Marketing Operations Team to deliver new initiatives, campaigns, and product enhancements/changes. you will ensure delivery on time, and be the gatekeeper for ensuring cohesion across the end-to-end journey and campaign assets
- Collaborating with the Marketing Campaign Team to deliver campaign assets for all channels, you too will be involved with execution including defining user journeys and campaign processes, together with the production of campaign assets like emails, digital content, and ebrochures, digital assets and more
- Working with the Business Development & Partnership Team to define and plan lead generation marketing campaigns targeting medium and large sized businesses across the North, designed to drive inbound and outbound leads
- Producing positioning and messaging frameworks and work in collaboration with (agency) copywriters to produce copy documents and assets
- Producing regular reports on market and competitor activity, as well as keep up to date with marketing trends, you’ll work with our Commercial Development and CX Insights team to better understand our audience and opportunities to shape our value proposition and the associated messaging.
- Producing and maintaining internal promotion communications in accordance with our sign off process
- Media, creative & campaign planning; working with agencies, internal CRM Marketing Manager; the Digital marketing manager, as well as your opposite number – the Leisure Product Marketing manager.

- To drive revenue through marketing campaign activity in line with business KPIs.
- To ensure efficiencies of marketing campaign activity to maximise ROI, in line with business KPIs.
Financial – Other
- The head of Sales and Marketing is accountable for the marketing budget of £6m in RY23
- This role holder will be responsible for spending circa £1.5million of this budget to deliver marketing campaigns – directing the Marketing Operations Manager and team to deliver campaigns via the creative agencies and media selection with our media agencies.
Staff Responsibilities –
- This role will have a dotted line manager role to the marketing operations manager, who (with their team) will be delivering the campaigns set by this role holder.
- The role is responsible for engaging in business wide marketing initiatives with other Northern colleagues.
- The role will be required to engage with other team members and our agencies
