Launceston Permanent £26,000 - £32,000 per year
Based in Launceston this highly reputable and successful firm acts for very wide ranging clients and whilst with a decent chuck of rural/ agriculture related sector clients they also act for much wider ranging construction, tourism, pubs, tourism/leisure and commercial/retail businesses. The firm uses IRIS, Xero and other online software. The firm has long serving staff and a good team culture with the team either office based whilst a mix of home to office working on offer with one to two days working from home also viable.
Joining as Accounts and Tax Senior Accountant based from the firms Launceston offices you will be responsible for the hands on preparation of year end accounts and personal and corporate tax compliance for wide ranging clients. There is scope to mould the role to a good degree around areas of interest, so scope to focus on the accounts side for those wanting to continue as an all rounder. Whilst should the right candidate bring an interest on the tax side, there is opportunity to further your career down that route equally. There is opportunity for career development and a progression path on offer.
You may be qualified, or part across any of AAT, ATT, ACA / ACCA etc, or have developed your career through experience only to date, with a career background within accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around the Accounts and Tax Senior Accountant levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity. Full or Part time working hours can be explored, mouldable around the preferences of the right candidate, with mix of home to office and hybrid working.
