Administrative Manager and PA to the Head of School- Pentland Field School
Work pattern: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week, 39 weeks + 5 days to be worked flexibly across the year (40 weeks)
Salary information: Scale SO1, £31,907 - £32,795 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Pentland Way, Ickenham, Uxbridge UB10 8TS

We are looking to appoint a personable, capable, highly efficient and effective Administrative Assistant and PA. You will lead a small team of staff in this busy, fast paced environment.
Pentland Field has nearly 170 pupils aged 4-19, with a range of learning difficulties. Some pupils may also have additional social, emotional and behavioural needs, an Autistic Spectrum Condition, or have complex social and communication difficulties. We believe our staff are the key to high quality provision for our children, so offer a full program of CPD to our staff and comprehensive wellbeing support. As an SEN setting, we work as part of multi-disciplinary teams, liaising with a wide range of external agencies, offer outreach for local schools, and provide support for our families via our family services coordinator. This is all part of what makes us a warm, vibrant and energetic environment in which to work.
Previous school experience is not necessary. We welcome applications from candidates who have significant experience in customer services and relations work. You will need to have proven leadership skills, be very competent in use of a range of IT, and have experience in delivering effective training for colleagues. Most importantly, this is a role for someone who is enthusiastic and flexible by nature, and who is excited by the prospect of being able to participate fully in the life of a special school.
