Risk and Assurance (Internal Audit) Manager opportunity to join an established team which has seen tremendous growth over the past 2 years. Whether you're a Senior Auditor looking for the next step in your career, or a skilled Manager looking for a change then this is a great opportunity for you.
The team work closely with their clients delivering internal audits and advisory services to ensure their businesses run effectively whilst remaining compliant. Their client portfolio spans not-for-profit and commercial businesses based primarily across the Eastern and South Eastern regions and London.

The Role Managers are the lead contact for a portfolio of clients and you will play a pivotal role in the team. You can expect to develop and maintain these relationships with your clients as well as having responsibilities for the following:
- Planning and managing audit plans within the agreed performance indications
- Preparing and agreeing client audit plans and annual reports
- Undertaking client audit work as necessary
- Presenting audit finding reports at Audit Committee meetings
- Conducting file and report quality reviews
- Directing and supervising the team of auditors on client fieldwork
- Assisting with coaching, training and developing new and existing staff members
- Working closely with and supported by a Partner within the Risk and Assurance Department.
There will also be the opportunity for this role to assist the Partners in business development initiatives such as participating in tender presentations.
- Have at least three years' Internal Audit experience, ideally with experience in education/social housing and/or NHS sectors
- Have achieved or working towards CMIIA/QIAL qualification, or qualified through experience
- Have experience of leading internal audits
- Have a full driving license and access to independent transport
- Be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Enjoy working as part of a busy team to achieve collective targets
- Be competent using Microsoft Office and other software applications
