John Flamsteed Community School is a high-performing school with a “good” Ofsted judgment. Students who attend our school want to learn, have a thirst for developing knowledge and skills and consistently demonstrate their commitment to follow The JF Way: “We are ambitious. We are committed. We are proud”. Teaching staff work hard to get the best outcomes by their students. Classrooms are interactive hubs of creativity with good behaviour and discipline. Learning is purposeful and we are continually striving to explore new teaching and learning methods, founded in evidence, to help students make good progress.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher to join a thriving school and work with students who are keen to learn.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious classroom practitioner to join this highly successful department.

We are looking for evidence of high quality classroom practice leading to excellent results. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge, understanding and experience of successful strategies for improving motivation in learning across the curriculum. We require a highly skilled teacher who can provide inspirational teaching at KS3 and KS4 and across a range of different abilities.
