The Care at Home team is seeking a carer for a lady in Aberdeenshire, Scotland who suffers from signs of advanced dementia, short-term memory loss, disorientation, general frailty. The client requires assistance with most aspects of personal care, as well as medication supervision. Although the lady is weight-bearing, assistance is occasionally needed at night and general mobility needs monitoring – there is a Zimmer frame and electric/manual wheelchair in situ. The lady enjoys sitting in the sunroom, loves the garden and nature, knitting, crafting, and watching TV.
The carer we are seeking ideally needs to be experienced with this type of care, be calm, patient, supportive, and understanding. Other duties will include cooking, housekeeping, and laundry. Please note this is a non-driving and non-smoking booking.
